The Air Cooled WeatherShield Chimney Cap by Chimney Cricket is a universal cap designed to install seamlessly inside an air-cooled chimney pipe. Its exclusive spring-tension connection ensures a secure, wind-resistant fit without interfering with the cooling features of air-cooled systems. The cap includes a removable lid and 1" mesh screen to keep out weather, animals, and debris. For California installations, a 1/2" mesh screen is required, which may add a slight delay to shipping.
Tallboy Model – Extended Slip Collar
The Tallboy model of the Air Cooled WeatherShield Chimney Cap is specifically designed for chimneys where the inner pipe sits lower in the system. Featuring a 15" slip collar, this cap extends further down to ensure a secure fit. Included tie-down straps help eliminate inner liner floating, offering added stability in challenging installations.
