• Outside width of clay flue tile

• Height of clay flue tile (if it extends above the crown)

  • For Recessed Flues: If your chimney opening lacks a protruding clay tile, measure the length and width of the opening. Remember, a Leg Kit will be necessary for this scenario.

Installation Guidance

Installing your stainless steel single flue cap for effective flue protection is straightforward. Follow these steps for a successful attachment:

1. Apply a bead of high-grade exterior silicone along the top edge of the clay flue.

2. Firmly press the single flue cap over the clay flue to establish a secure bond.

3. Gently tighten the cone-point pressure screws until they make contact with the clay flue tile. Avoid overtightening to prevent damage.
