The Austen comes standard in a beautiful, natural clay finish. For a truly personalized touch, choose from 8 optional gloss glaze colors. This color is achieved by firing a durable glass coating onto the clay, ensuring a finish that is permanent, extremely durable, and guaranteed not to fade or peel.

Essential Installation Considerations

This pot must be set securely in a bed of mortar on the masonry cap. Crucially, the pot's base must not encroach upon the inside area of your flue liner. To ensure proper fit, always measure your specific flue liner carefully before ordering, as nominal sizes vary widely.

For enhanced security against high winds, additional anchoring using non-corrosive metal bars secured into the chimney structure is recommended, supplementing the required mortar base.
