The new SnapLok DryerCam features a newly designed housing that forms a smooth shell in which the Ferret Plus camera is housed. The Ferret Plus WiFi camera is an upgraded version of the Ferret Sweeps camera. It now has better range, an "always up" feature, and an onboard memory. So if you happen to lose signal, the onboard memory will keep recording, and then it will dump onto you device (smart phone, iPad, tablet, etc.) once back in range. The housing incorporates a series of centering fins spaced around the shell to help keep the camera more centered in the dryer vent. Simply unscrew the two halves of the DryerCam housing to turn the camera on and off as well as charge the camera. The Ferret Plus just slips into the housing so it's also easily removed for more convenient charging and for using the camera for many other applications.
