Small PterodacTile Setter/Remover - T2

The patented PterodacTILE tile remover is the answer to many of the difficulties encountered when removing flue tiles that aren't mortared to the chimney walls. The design allows lifting tile and large debris out of a chimney. This makes it easier to remove tile pieces from the top rather than breaking them into smaller pieces and fighting them through a thimble or fireplace damper and hauling out pieces in buckets. Lighter weight tool to be used in conjunction with Large T1. Jaws open wide to grab objects up to 3" across. Cast aluminum body is lighter for better control when way down the chimney. Two operation modes allows precise control to pick up very small objects or full tiles, including round tiles. ButtonLok double connector works with existing ButtonLok Rods or use with ButtonLok II Rods (#7540D 3/4" Solid Co-Polymer ButtonLok II Rod x 4' is recommended). Replaceable urethane coated jaws grip tightly. Swivel winch connector allows attachment of winch to assist heavy lifts. Often used with "car jack" type tile lifters, which break cracked tiles into two pieces; those two pieces can now be lifted out with the T2! The T2, the Small PterodacTILE, is made of cast aluminum and used for picking up loosened tiles or helping with large tile lifts in conjunction with a T1. The jaws open wide for picking up block up to 4" thick. The locking jaw makes it a big pincer to retrieve dropped tools, or unlock to allow flexibility to grab tiles or blocks. T2's narrow inner jaw allows it to grip round tiles that are harder to break out and remove.
