Use it when mating Smooth-N-Lite on top to rigid pipe below, Smooth-N-Lite to Smooth-N-Lite, Smooth-N-Lite to OvalFlex via a S-O Adaptor, or Smooth-N-Lite to RectangleFlex via a S-R Adaptor. A connector/adaptor is not needed when mating rigid pipe on top to flex pipe on bottom.
