Color Customization & Durability

The Excalibur comes standard in its beautiful, natural clay state. However, you can personalize its look with eight optional gloss glaze colors. This durable colored glass coating is permanently fired onto the clay, resulting in a stunning finish that is guaranteed not to fade or peel over time.

Optional Glaze Colors: Black, Buff, Salt Glaze (Brown), Brick Red, Sandstone, Blue Limestone, Grey Limestone, Antique.

Note: Adding a custom glaze typically requires an extra 4–6 weeks for order processing.

Essential Sizing & Installation

This decorative top must be installed on a masonry chimney cap using a mortar bed. Crucially, the base of the chimney pot must not restrict the internal area of the flue liner.

Always measure the actual dimensions of your flue liner before ordering. Flue dimensions are NOMINAL and vary widely. Remember: Square liners are nominally sized using outside dimensions, and round liners use inside dimensions.

For installations in areas prone to severe weather (e.g., hurricanes or seismic activity), we recommend additional anchoring, such as drilling holes (1/4”–1/2” diameter) on opposite sides and using non-corrosive metal bars to secure the pot into the grout or chimney walls.
