Any unused, re-sellable merchandise in original condition and in its original box or package may be returned for exchange or refunded within 30 days of the order date. The returned item must be in its original box with all paperwork. The item must be unused and unopened. We will refund the product price only. Inbound and outbound shipping costs will not be refunded. Orders that received discounted or free shipping will be charged for initial shipping cost as well as returning shipping cost.
If the item(s) have been used or tested in any way, it can be returned if in a re-sellable condition and within 30 days from the date of purchase. It must be in its original box and all manuals, warranties, accessories and packing materials must be included. Any media products such as DVDs, CDs, or VHS tapes are not returnable if they have been opened. Any gas or fireplace item that has been used or installed is not returnable for any reason. Any items that have been opened (excluding media) or used will incur a restocking charge of 15% of the item(s) price. All items which are shipped via freight will be charged a 15% restocking fee regardless if they have been opened or not. The customer will also incur the expense of all shipping charges, even if the order was sent with free or discounted shipping. Inbound and outbound shipping costs will not be refunded. Orders that received discounted or free shipping will be charged for initial shipping cost as well as returning shipping cost. Any returns shipped via freight collect to the return address will be refused and returned to the shipper. We will not cover the return shipping fees.
It is the responsibility of the customer to return the product in the same new/undamaged condition in which it was received. Any returned products received damaged in shipping will not be eligible for a credit. We are not responsible for damaged items received. The customer will need to file an insurance claim with the carrier for damaged items in order to be reimbursed for the insured amount.
Notice: Due to COVID19 product availability and shipping times have been changing faster then we can keep up with. Shipping times for larger items have been taking on average 4 weeks to deliver. Chimney Cricket joyfully gives its clients free delivery with orders bigger than $99. Anything lower and the rate charged for the delivery of your request depends on the weight of your items and your area. Prior to the last checkout page, you will be informed of shipping cost at which point, you will have an opportunity to change your mind and not put in your request on the off chance that you choose not to do so.
Upon placing your order, we will ship your items out within two days of procurement if said things are in current stock. Chimney Cricket decides the most proficient shipping method for your request. The transporters that might be utilized are: U.S. Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS) or FedEx. Sorry, we can't ship to P.O. Boxes. We send things to every one of the 48 mainland states. Orders conveying to states, for example, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, require extraordinary shipment and are not qualified with the expectation of complimentary delivery. Transportation will be figured by weight and will be added to the client's bill upon checkout.
Shipping to Canada & International Shipping
Most of our items on our website are available to be shipped to Canada but are excluded from the free shipping option. We recommend that all items being shipped to Canada be quoted prior to purchasing through customer service. Our quote (in USD) will include the item price and approximate shipping charge. Please be aware this shipping cost does not and will not include the additional international fees, such as tax, duty, and brokerage fees. These additional fees are separate and will be collected by the customer at the time of delivery.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
