The DuraPlus Pitched/Cathedral Ceiling Support Box is used to support the DuraPlus Chimney Pipe when passing through a combustible cathedral ceiling. The support box is 24 in. long and capable of supporting up to 35 ft. of chimney pipe. The inside of the support box is equipped with a twist lock connection giving the DuraPlus pipe a positive connection to the support box.
Use the DuraPlus Snap Lock Adapter with Trim to connect the stove pipe to the bottom of the support box. A 1 1/2 in. trim collar is included to place around the support box to conceal the hole in the ceiling. The Cathedral Ceiling Support Box can also be installed in a flat ceiling and used as the attic insulation shield for very short attic spaces.
